On August 28, the main event of Qingdao’s National Science Popularization Month for 2025 was officially launched at the Qingdao Science and Technology Museum. Led by Chief Expert Professor Wang Xuepeng, the Jiaozhou Fishery Pharmaceutical Science Courtyard in Shandong was invited to participate in the “Science Carnival,” showcasing the innovative power of fisheries science and technology through a variety of engaging formats.

At the event, the Small Courtyard set up a booth in the “Qingdao City Science and Technology Small Courtyard Featured Achievements Exhibition” zone, highlighting its research and development breakthroughs in aquaculture pharmaceuticals. The exhibit showcased several eco‑friendly aquatic‑disease‑control formulations, offering a clear demonstration of the tangible impact of cutting‑edge science and technology. In addition, by presenting real‑world technical service case studies, the exhibition vividly illustrated the practical value of science‑based agricultural support. To foster engagement and promote scientific literacy, the Small Courtyard also organized a special interactive quiz with prize draws, using a lighthearted and engaging approach to spark visitors’ interest in learning and to convey the principles of sustainable aquaculture.

This exhibition serves not only as an important platform for the Jiaozhou Aquaculture Pharmaceutical Science and Technology Courtyard to showcase its achievements and share experiences, but also as a concrete step toward putting into practice the principle of “coordinated development between science communication and technological innovation.” Moving forward, the Courtyard will continue to act as a bridge among industry, academia, research, and application, deepening its efforts in aquaculture pharmaceutical R&D and technology dissemination to support the high‑quality development of the aquaculture sector. Moreover, through field‑based workshops, online science outreach, and other diverse channels, it will intensify efforts to popularize fisheries‑related scientific knowledge, enabling more farmers to master cutting‑edge farming techniques and continuously contributing the Courtyard’s expertise to raising public scientific literacy and advancing rural revitalization.
