The research team conducted an on-site inspection of the Science and Technology Courtyard’s progress and interim achievements, toured the science‑education exhibition hall, and listened to a detailed briefing from the courtyard’s director on its development, the implementation of public‑science outreach activities, and the work plan for 2025. Through in‑depth discussions, the team gained a clearer understanding of the courtyard’s advancement and the challenges it currently faces, and offered on‑site guidance and recommendations.

During the field visit, the research team fully commended the achievements of the Science and Technology Courtyards. With regard to future development, the team emphasized the need to strengthen the management of special funds for science communication projects, to plan the allocation of project budgets in a scientifically sound manner, and to strictly adhere to established procedures to ensure that funds are used exclusively for their designated purposes. Looking ahead, it is essential to diversify science communication approaches, amplify brand‑building efforts, and comprehensively enhance the enterprises’ social impact. By further strengthening the “Science and Technology Courtyard” brand, we can achieve a win‑win outcome: delivering scientific knowledge to businesses while driving industrial upgrading, thereby enabling cutting‑edge fisheries technologies to take root in local communities and benefit countless fishermen.
