On the morning of July 17, Wan Chunlei, Party Secretary and Director of the Jiaozhou Marine Development Service Center, led a delegation to Qingdao Zhongren Animal Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. for an inspection and exchange. Zhang Shuren, Chairman of Zhongren Group, and Leng Dunpeng, General Manager of Qingdao Zhongren Animal Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., among others, attended the symposium.
Zhang Shuren, Chairman of Zhongren Group, extended a warm welcome to Director Wan Chunlei on his visit and provided a brief overview of the Group’s 26-year development, highlighting its achievements in three key areas: human health, ecological health, and animal health.
General Manager Leng Dunpeng began by outlining the company’s operations, including production and business management, product research and development, and market expansion, before providing a detailed overview of Zhongren Dongyao’s business scope, product portfolio, technological expertise in marine‑derived pharmaceuticals, and sales territories. He noted that the company operates 14 GMP‑compliant veterinary‑medicine production lines and six feed‑additive production lines, with its four major product lines—poultry, livestock, aquaculture, and pet care—earning widespread trust and recognition from customers. Sales of the “Depu” brand veterinary medicines now reach markets across the country.
Li Jinxiang, Deputy General Manager of the R&D Center, provided a detailed overview of Zhongren Biopharmaceutical’s R&D capabilities. The company adheres to a strategy of technology-driven innovation, leveraging cutting-edge science and technology to fuel growth. By attracting top-tier talent and strategically aligning specialized disciplines, it has built a highly skilled research team. Furthermore, by closely integrating frontier scientific advances with market demands, the company continuously innovates across relevant technological domains, thereby providing robust technical support for its sustainable development.
Director Wan Chunlei provided an in-depth overview of Jiaozhou’s marine industry development, including its current status and future trends, as well as initiatives in industry–education integration within the marine sector, talent needs, and public outreach on marine science. He emphasized that the Jiaozhou Marine Development Service Center will continue to closely monitor and support the company’s efforts in developing marine pharmaceuticals, actively advance collaborative projects between the two parties in the marine field, and provide robust support to facilitate cross-sectoral integration and industry–education collaboration, thereby jointly fostering high-quality growth of Jiaozhou’s marine economy.
Going forward, both parties will further strengthen communication and cooperation, exploring broader areas of collaboration. Qingdao Zhongren Animal Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. will leverage its expertise in marine pharmaceuticals and marine biotechnology services to work closely with the Jiaozhou Marine Development Service Center, jointly driving innovative development in the marine industry.
