[BOYAR Monitoring] Daily Review of Pig Market [4.9]]

Pig in stock:
According to Boya Hexun monitoring, on April 9, 2021, the average price of three yuan live pigs outside the country was 20.92 yuan/kg, down 0.9 yuan/kg from yesterday; the average price of piglets was 82.79 yuan/kg, down 1.01 yuan/kg from yesterday; the average price of white striped meat was 26.51 yuan/kg, down 1.31 yuan/kg from yesterday. Today's pig price ratio is 6.19:1, 0.27 less than yesterday.
Pig prices fell sharply this week, and the decline in pig prices increased in the later part of the week. On April 8 and 9, the average price of live pigs in the country fell nearly 1 yuan/kg per day. Pig prices in many parts of the north fell below 20 yuan/kg. The average price of live pigs in the country quickly fell below 22 yuan/kg from 24 yuan/kg before Qingming Festival. The psychological bottom line at the breeding end was completely broken, and panic was increased, further aggravating. Although the current consumption is sluggish, a short period of panic can still meet the market demand, and the storage of low-priced pork has increased. At present, the loss of all purchased breeding heads has exceeded 500 yuan, and the market sentiment of supporting prices has increased again. With the reduction of pig sources that can be sold, the room for pig prices to fall after falling too far may be limited, and the bottom consolidation time may be lengthened.
