Bovine nodular skin disease, also known as bovine pimple disease, is an infectious disease of cattle caused by a virus, characterized by persistent high fever and a large number of pimple-like nodules on the skin. This disease is not a zoonosis, and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs temporarily manages it as a Class II animal disease.
Nodular dermatosis virus is a pox virus, which is very different from vaccinia virus, but similar to sheep pox virus and goat pox virus, has common antigenic determinants and can be immunologically cross-protected. Most disinfectants (acid, alkali, formalin) have a good killing effect on this virus. This virus has epithelialness and mainly replicates and reproduces in skin and mucosal epithelial cells. The important manifestation of diseased cattle is elevated body temperature (above 40 ℃ and persistent high fever). With a large number of virus replicating in epithelial cells, cells are broken and inflammatory reaction is intensified. Papules will appear on the surface of skin and visceral mucosa. Papules will then become nodular protrusions, showing pimple-like, and these pimple will form blisters in the later, the blisters burst to form a scab and the skin is permanently destroyed. At the same time, the cattle with this disease may also have some secondary diseases and emaciation. After the cow is infected, it will affect the milk production and cause certain harm to the breeding industry.

Drinking water or mixing material:
1. Qiqing Antidote Granules 100g/200kg of Water
2. Qizhen Zengfree Granules 100g/100kg
Use for 5-7 days.
Treatment plan:
Shuanghuanglian injection or isatis root injection 1 flunixin meglumine injection 1 distemetoxin interferon (compound sulfamonomethoxine sodium injection) 1 mixed 20kg body weight/ml (continuous use for 5-7 days)
Vaccination:
Five times the amount of sheep pox vaccine (5 parts) injected (intradermal injection) into the hairless part of the cow's tail root to prick and blister to effectively inoculate successfully
